Practice Partners

Periplus grows by adding practices. Approaches from prospective practice partners are received in confidence; expressions of interest in other capacities—senior advisers and specialist affiliates among them—are received the same way. The collection network is engaged separately, under its own agreements.

A practice is a domain held by one partner: a deliberately limited number of clients, with the firm’s standing collection capability behind it. The partner frames the questions with the client, directs the collection, and delivers the judgement; partners neither collect nor deal directly with the network. Practice partners are senior practitioners from strategic intelligence, disputes, and adjacent fields—government service, industry, finance, mediation—with a following in a defined domain, focused on Africa, the Middle East, or South, Central, and Southeast Asia.
